We all look for someone’s hand to hold when we need assurance or comfort. You know, those moments when you feel like you are being squeezed out of the tube.
Psalm 139 is a wonderful psalm exposing an intensely personal relationship between the psalmist and his God. It can be the same for you. One thing our loving God promises to all His children is that He is never far away, even in the darkest of moments. God will never let go of your hand, no matter how dark it gets. God’s hand always protects you always, even in the darkness.
We read this in vv. 11-12 – “If I say, ‘Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,’ even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you.”
This Christmas Season, God, through His Son Jesus, wants to offer you hope and security. Run to Him today, He sees you, even in darkness!
